Prime Hosting was set up in early 2004 and quickly gained a reputation for quality of service and support, largely via word of mouth from our original and small client base. In February of 2005 Prime Hosting became Prime Hosting Limited, a company registered in England & Wales. Throughout 2005 and 2006 Prime Hosting continued to grow and expand.
In August 2007 Prime Hosting was sold to UH Hosting Limited. Prime Hosting will continue as it’s own brand, with the finanical support and technical experience provided by UH Hosting.
Mission Statement
Prime Hosting aims to provide you with one of the best web hosting services in the UK and Europe. We don’t plan to stick with what we have now either – Prime Hosting is not just another LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) host – there are plenty of those out there already. We aim to keep moving forward, to push new services and to innovate. In 2006 we became one of the first hosts in the UK (and even Europe) to offer support for Ruby on Rails.
Prime Hosting also aims to provide a more personal level of service. Our staff will happily help you get your site up and running and we’ll help you find the best hosting package and solution for you. We take an active interest in your web-site and aim to provide a service tailored to you.
